    Nature’s Way has sourced ingredients from partners around the world since 1969. So, many of our relationships are well-established. Yet, we require every raw material to come with a certification of analysis to meet our elevated standards—and still test every ingredient batch we receive.  

In-house vs. third-party testing

Many brands that claim to use third-party testing for unbiased results don’t have an ISO-accredited lab capable of performing high-level ISO 17025 tests onsite. Nature’s Way does. Not only does this allow us to perform the tests mandated by federal regulations, but it also enables us to conduct tests from start to finish. First, we test every batch of raw material we receive. Then, we test the formulas throughout production. And finally, we test the finished product.  

Owning an ISO-accredited lab also:

✔ ensures the tests are performed by scientists with a deep understanding of dietary supplements

✔ allows us to design additional, fit-for-purpose test methods to ensure consistency across batches

✔ enables us to perform additional testing on ingredients known to have a higher risk of contamination, misidentification, or inconsistent potency
